Digital Twins - City of Monaco

The City of Monaco wanted to develop a collaborative 3D application to optimize the efficiency and safety of its fire brigades during interventions. This application had to not only allow optimal collaboration between stakeholders but also integrate advanced IoT technology to locate firefighters in real-time inside buildings using digital twins.

Solution & Key Features

The City of Monaco needed a collaborative 3D application to improve their firefighters' efficiency and safety. Their existing Unreal application lacked real-time collaboration.

3dverse was chosen to develop a new application that provides:

  • Real-time firefighter tracking: Using IoT sensors and bracelets, the app allows command centers to see the exact location of firefighters within buildings.

  • Easy access to building metadata: Firefighters can quickly access crucial information like the location of fire safety equipment and hazardous materials.

  • Real-time collaboration: On-site teams and command centers can view and interact with the same 3D model simultaneously.

This resulted in:

  • Enhanced operational efficiency: Firefighters can navigate complex buildings faster and more safely.

  • Improved safety and response time: Better situational awareness leads to more effective responses.

  • Scalability: The application can be expanded to other buildings in Monaco.
